LDS is a disposable sharp hypodermic needle with a stainless-steel cannula and a rigid, low-dead-space polymer hub, designed to leave less fluid behind at the connection. Available in 30G and 33G, 9 mm and 13 mm lengths, with standard or enlarged-lumen internal-diameter options.

01Low-dead-space hub
Designed to reduce the fluid retained at the needle connection. In bench testing, the LDS needle contributed 0.005 mL of dead space, a 0.042 mL saving versus a tested conventional needle combination.

Standard and enlarged-lumen options provide different internal-diameter pathways within the listed gauges.

03360° external threading
Designed for secure engagement with a compatible luer-lock syringe.

The hard-polymer hub is designed to limit flexing and deformation under pressure.
